Also: When I convert a .raw to a .jpeg or .png it looks fine on the compter, but once I upload the photo here the colors are desaturated a bit and I lose enough quality for me to whine about.. does this happen with you? Any solution?
Um, I guess you could always look at your original, then look at it on here, and then make the corrections on the original so that when you upload it, it only de-saturates it back to how your original was. For example, if you find your blacks getting too washed out, and the highlights are yellow, then I would darken your blacks more and push the highlights blue that way it will compensate for the upload compression that deviant has.
Why did you delete your science fiction creation you posted a few days back? Hope everything is going well in Savannah with you + Jess, and Daniel. I'm going to be buying a new camera and some new lenses soon, maybe you can offer some advice on what to stay away from, am about to build a light set-up in the next coming months as well. The Braves are awful, I'm glad we traded Tex, and if you ever get a chance you should e-mail me Gulfstream work, I'd like to see it since you might not be able to post it here legally. Also, make sure to send a link my way when you and Kevin finish shooting something I already know will be good.
